Are the classes just for law enforcement officers?
No. The classes are open to others who work in the realm of law enforcement. i.e. dispatchers, solicitors, booking officers, etc.

How do I register for a class?
Officers wanting to participate in this training course must contact the Immigration Enforcement Unit’s Administrative Assistant, Mrs. Lisa Radvansky by email (lmradvansky@scdps.gov) or by calling the Immigration Enforcement Unit Headquarters at (803-896-4054).

How long does the class normally last?
The Survival Spanish for Law Enforcement class is a three (3) day class that begins at 0900 each day and ends at 1700 each day. There will be breaks throughout with an hour for lunch.

How much are the classes?
The classes are free of charge to SC law enforcement officers and to others who work in the realm of law enforcement. i.e. dispatchers, solicitors, booking officers, etc.

What do we need to bring to the class?
You may want to bring a pen/pencil and something to take notes with. We will provide you with a packet of the training material.
