I lost my sister, Darlene, to a tragic accident on March 2, 2002. She was a very outgoing person and was the type person that every body loved. She left behind a son who is now 7 years old, who loves him mom dearly. I could never say enough about her. There was only two of us and she would say I was her hero but in reality she was mine. I miss being able to call her just to say HI.. or going shopping. Or for that matter anything. She taught me alot without me ever realizing she did so until she was gone. I miss her more than anything in this world. I have two kids, a daughter and a son, that loved her dearly. My daughter actually looks and acts like her. A few days before she was killed, she kept my baby which was not even a year old yet and he ate her shrimp and went to sleep laying in her lap, which she thought was funny because he never did either of them before. As a matter of fact, I was working and she called me about 4 times to tell me what he did. She also left behind our mom and dad, which she was the apple of their eyes. It is so hard to see what my parents go through everyday without her. She left alot of good memories and alot of people who loved and still love her. We don't know what happened to cause her to have the accident and I wonder everyday why her. She had so much going for her. Life without her is not the same. She always tried to pick up the pieces when things went wrong. But you know she's happy where she's at even though we are sad because she is no longer on earth with us. Darlene, we miss you and love you with all our hearts. I know I never told you as often as I should have, but I have always looked up to you. You are my one and only sister and will always cherish the time we had together. Brandon misses you so much. I am trying to help him get through the hard times without you. I'm not trying to take your place because I could never walk in your shoes. You would be proud of him sometimes. lol.. other times you would get his back end. Cody and Janet ask for you all the time. You didn't think he liked you but he did. smiles...love you sis, Jenn.
To the ones of you who have lost someone in tragic accidents, my heart goes out to you. And to the ones that have not, never take life for granted. You never know when it will be one of your family members or even you. Always drive safely and be aware of other drivers.

BE SAFE AND PLEASE DRIVE SAFELY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.
