Your memories are always fresh within us, for you are in our thoughts each and every day. We all know you left this world much too soon that December night, however, we know you are in a much better place looking down upon us....

John never was at a loss for words and always tried to help anyone that needed his help. He was a character with stories to tell for those who ever met or knew him-(aka..."Big John", and "DUH"). I told him he should be a writer (some of the tales he told were whoppers!)... He loved his family/friends and loved to draw trains and train yards.

These are some of his last writings -(September 25, 2007)

"Why is it that when you try your hardest the farther you fall? My upbringing has made me who I am today. Still, regardless how I may look, I'm still a wonderful man. I found out it doesn't matter how wonderful you are, if life trips you up, you will fall..."

"I was taught that you work for what you want and that sometimes you have to sacrifice, give up or just let go of things you want in return for what you need. All good, but I get what I need first then what I want--sounds like that's a good thing. It is. In my case no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to get neither one accomplished ..."

"Well, new plan is on the table. I haven't finished it yet, but something has to work right someday. When my life is right, everything will be right..."

Seems like his life was just starting to fall into place when he left us....he is in our hearts forever!

He was a kind and loving son and brother. We love him and miss him so much!!
